First off let me say I absolutely love your kilts. I own a few of them and wear them everyday. Best utility style kilt I’ve found. Wasted a lot of money on several different brands but they are all rubbish and nothing tops yours. I could have saved a lot of money if I went with y’all from the get go. Now for the important bits…
Where have you been?
All over the world. All over the US, Canada, Middle East, Great Britain and a few other places.
Where are you at?
I’m currently residing in Fredericksburg, VA aka FredVegas
How is your Utilikilt changing the world?
I get compliments all the time for wearing my utilikilts and a lot of people have asked about purchasing one for themselves. I think people are seeing it in this small redneck town and wanting to break the mold of having to wear camouflage pants all the time. They are realizing that it’s ok to be independent and not care what the “norms” are. Be who you are!
What are you?
I am an Army veteran, police officer, and lady lover. I have never been one to follow the “norms” or fit a mold. I have always been my own person who wears and does what ever I want.
What do you do to pay the bills?
I’m a Police officer
One day I was wearing my Utilikilt* and…
it was actually just last weekend when I was setting up Gay Pride floats for Toronto Pride and a huge gust of wind blew the back of my workmens Utilikilt up and it got stuck there for the whole world and all the crew men to see my a$$ hanging out. Oops. Just another day in the life of kilt wearing. Haha
Who are you?
I am Lady Lew! I legit am a Lady since I own land in Scotland. I come from a long line of Welsh and Scottish folks. My grand parents from both sides were right off the boat from Wales.
Where are you going?
Anywhere I can. I love to travel! I’ve been section hiking parts of the Appalachian Trail. Next year my big plans are to travel to Italy and Greece.
If a Utilikilt* representative came to your town, would you put them up?
Hellz yeah! I’d even take you on a tour!
What kind of beer are you buying for the first round?
Jack Daniels… beer is for sissies.
How has wearing a Utilikilt changed your life?
I have always felt like an outcast. In my younger years I would try to fit in so I wouldn’t get made fun of as much. It took its toll on me. Now that I’ve gotten older and have come to terms with who I really am, and that I’m eccentric, I have embraced it. Wearing my Utilikilts has made me be even more who I am and has helped my self confidence immensely. I’m ok with being the odd one.
That all being said, thank you all so much for what you do and keep it up!
